Fav Quote

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts, too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.

Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin. ~anonymous

Jacob's Passions

Jacob is a fascinating young man, if I do say so myself. He is sincere and dependable. He cares about people and animals. He would rather be outdoors than anywhere else. The school year is about one month too long for him! These pictures show some of his favorite things. Four-wheelers, first and foremost. Here you see him on his beloved Suzuki Z400. He had to pay for part of it by mowing yards and picking up pine cones on his Pap Trick's farm. The young man on the other ATV is Jackson, a very good friend Jacob calls his "brother from another mother!" The next picture is Jacob driving the Farmall M in the Carnival Antique Car Parade. His sister, Jordana, and one of his good friends, Kennedy, rode along. And then we have Jacob with two of his good friends, Levi and Lewis. This picture was taken at our school's May Day Festival where the country kids were allowed to have a tractor display. And the last two pictures are of Jacob's animals. The holstein is a 4-H project, named Bandit. This steer thinks he's a dog - probably walks on a lead better than most canines! And then there is Jacob with one of his ducklings. Jacob loves his chickens and ducks. Jacob is fond of saying, "It all started with a chicken!" This is a reference to the first rooster we got - a white leghorn we named "Foghorn."
